What is Covered?
Loss or Damage Coverage: Your personal belongings are protected against a wide range of risks, including fire, explosion, self-ignition, lightning, burglary, theft, riots, strikes, and malicious acts. We also cover damage caused by natural calamities such as floods, cyclones, hurricanes, hailstorms, landslides, earthquakes, and more. In addition, protection extends to accidental external means, terrorist activities, and even while your items are in transit by road, rail, inland waterways, lifts, elevators, or air.
Personal Items Covered: This includes clothes and articles of personal nature that you are likely to wear, electronic devices like smartphones and laptops, as well as audio/video tapes and CDs.
What is Not Covered?
We do not provide coverage for certain items, including cheques, money, bank drafts, securities, credit and debit cards, and travel tickets. Jewellery, watches, glasses, and lenses are also excluded from the policy. Additionally, manuscripts, valuables, paintings, and goods or samples carried for trade or business purposes are not covered under this plan
