What is Health Gain Insurance?
The Maldives captivates travellers with its pristine white-sand beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters and world-class overwater bungalows that create an unparalleled tropical paradise experience. This stunning archipelago features luxury resorts across North Malé Atoll and vibrant coral reefs in South Ari Atoll, consistently earning recognition as one of the world's top romantic getaway destinations.
While the excitement of planning your Maldivian escape is undeniable, the practical considerations of travelling to this remote destination make travel insurance absolutely essential. For instance, if your luggage gets delayed during your connecting flight to Malé, IndusInd travel insurance (formerly Reliance travel insurance) provides immediate claim payouts to purchase essential beachwear and toiletries without disrupting your precious vacation days.
Similarly, discovering your passport is missing just before departure can create instant panic about your dream trip, but travel insurance provides immediate assistance with emergency documentation. This complete coverage reduces disasters to minor inconveniences and provides financial protection.
These scenarios are just a small part of how travel insurance makes your Maldives journey effortless and safe. With 24/7 support and digital claims processing with the IndusInd Self-i app, you gain the freedom to focus entirely on snorkelling in clear waters and enjoying sunset dinners without worrying about unexpected challenges.
A health insurance plan covers for these unexpected medical expenses, ensuring you don't have to bear the financial burden. You can focus on getting the medical care you need without worrying about the cost. In simple terms, health insurance helps you to reduce or avoid a larger financial stress by paying a comparatively smaller premium.
Individual Travel Plan

Our individual travel plan offers comprehensive protection for one traveller, so it's a great addition to any solo trip to Thailand. Here are the key features and coverage limits of this plan that make it a standout choice.
Family Travel Plan
Why buy 4 separate plans when you can buy one plan to cover your family of 4! Our family travel insurance plan offers coverage up to $250,000*, and this coverage is shared among all family members. This makes policy handling and claims processing a lot easier since you'll just be using one plan to cover your entire family during your trip.
