Cambodia Visa for Indians
Indian citizens need a visa to visit Cambodia. The country offers two convenient visa options that make travel planning easy. You can apply for an e-visa online before your trip, or you can get a visa on arrival directly at Cambodia's international airports, which is perfect for last-minute travellers. Both options are straightforward and designed to welcome tourists without complicated procedures.
Cambodia has become incredibly popular among Indian travellers, and it's easy to understand why, with the country's crown jewel, Angkor Wat, attracting approximately 2.2 million international tourists. Beyond the famous temples, you can also explore floating villages on Tonlé Sap Lake or the capital city, Phnom Penh, with its colourful markets, delicious street food and fascinating cultural sites. For beach lovers, Sihanoukville on the southern coast offers pristine white sand beaches and crystal-clear waters perfect for relaxation.
With easy e-visa applications, you'll love the affordable accommodations, friendly locals and diverse experiences ranging from temple hopping to beach relaxation.
Cambodia Visa: Everything You Need to Know
You require a valid visa to enter Cambodia. The most common options for you to obtain a visa are an e-visa or a Visa on Arrival (VoA). You can apply for the e-Visa online before the trip for a 30-day stay in Cambodia for tourism purposes.
If you prefer to get a Cambodia visa upon arrival, you can obtain the visa at major entry points, including airports and select land border checkpoints. The VoA typically allows a stay of up to 30 days as well.
Both Cambodia visas for Indian citizens require applicants to meet certain conditions, such as a valid passport (with at least six months’ validity), a return ticket and proof of sufficient funds for the stay.
Visitors also need to apply for and obtain a Cambodia e-Arrival card 7 days before their arrival. This e-Arrival Card is required for all visa types, not just VoAs.
You can choose to get a visa after arriving in the country at one of the airports/checkpoints, including the Phnom Penh International Airport, Siem Reap International Airport and Preah Sihanoukville International Airport, once you get your e-visa certificate.
