Student Travel Insurance
A student travel insurance plan is a specialised plan designed for students studying overseas. Similar to a regular travel insurance plan, it covers medical emergencies, trip cancellations and lost baggage. It also covers tuition fees in case of study interruptions and refunds any unused amount.
This can be a huge help, as tuition fees can be extremely expensive overseas. That’s why buying student trip insurance from India is best. For instance, if your postgraduate course costs ₹20 Lakhs or more, your overseas student travel insurance plan will be just 1-1.5% of the course fee.
Most universities and institutes abroad also mandate student travel insurance during the admission process and throughout your stay overseas. And that's where we can help!
You can buy your student plan online on our website. IndusInd student travel insurance (formerly Reliance student travel insurance) plans also offer medical financial protection for up to $500,000*, so you can focus on your studies and not stress over sudden inconveniences.
