Pre-existing Diseases: If a pre-existing condition becomes life-threatening while travelling, emergency treatment costs will be covered.
Third-Party Liability: If you accidentally injure someone or damage their property, we’ll cover the resulting medical or repair expenses.
Travel and Baggage Delay: Covers delays due to medical emergencies, bad weather, job loss or security issues. Baggage delays exceeding 12 hours are also covered.

What is not Covered?
Planned Treatment: Travelling to any Asian country solely for medical treatment, surgery or cosmetic procedures is not covered under the policy.
Undeclared Pre-existing Diseases: Medical emergencies related to pre-existing illnesses that were not disclosed before purchasing the plan will not be covered.
Pregnancy-Related Exclusion: If you are over 30 weeks pregnant, any expenses related to childbirth or associated complications during the trip are excluded.
Legal Violations: Costs arising from legal issues, including situations that result in your passport being seized by authorities, are not covered.

Filing a claim under your IndusInd Singapoe travel insurance policy is easy! For medical claims, all you need to do is submit your policy details at the hospital reception to get cashless medical coverage. Types of Visas for Singapore
Singapore visas are mandatory for all Indian citizens – there is also no visa-on-arrival option available. Applying for the correct visa type well in advance is essential for a smooth journey. Social Visa / Tourist Visa
For short-term holiday or visiting family/friends. Indian citizens must apply through an authorised travel agency or have a local Singaporean sponsor apply online. Each application requires a Letter of Introduction from a local contact or Indian embassy.
Transit Visa / Visa-Free Transit Facility (VFTF)
For Indian travellers transiting Singapore up to 96 hours. No prior visa is needed if you have a valid onward ticket and certain visas for Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, the US, the UK, Germany, or Switzerland. You cannot extend or reapply for VFTF during your stay. VFTF only allows one entry and exit.
Business Visa
For business meetings, conferences and exhibitions. Apply via authorised travel agent or with a Singapore-based business sponsor acting as your local contact. Business visas cannot be used for employment — separate work passes are needed for jobs. Indians must apply before arrival — no exceptions.
Student Pass
Required for full-time study at recognised Singapore institutions. The application process must begin after admission, with institutional sponsorship. The In-Principle Approval (IPA) letter works as your pass for arrival. Not valid for part-time or short-term courses – these require a Social Visit Pass or Tourist Visa, depending on the duration and nature of the course.
Work Visa / Work Pass
Required for employment, internships, or professional activities. Only the Singapore employer or authorised agent can apply, not individuals. Pass types include Employment Pass, S Pass and Work Permits. Caution: Indian travellers should not pay overseas agents; applications must be made by the hiring company directly with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
