What is not Covered?
Planned Treatment: Travelling to any Asian country solely for medical treatment, surgery or cosmetic procedures is not covered under the policy.

Pregnancy-Related Exclusion: If you are over 30 weeks pregnant, any expenses related to childbirth or associated complications during the trip are excluded.

Types of Visas for Spain

Indians need a visa to enter Spain as they are not part of the visa-free countries list. A student visa is for studying at recognised Spanish schools. Three types exist: under 90 days, 3-6 months and over six months, requiring residence cards. You need admission letters, financial proof, health insurance and clean criminal records. EU citizens only need a residence registration without a visa.
Work Visa
A work visa enables employment with Spanish companies requiring job offers and work authorisation. You need a valid passport, a work contract, professional qualifications, a police clearance certificate and medical certificates. Upon arrival, get residence cards, NIE numbers and enrol in the social security system.
Transit Visa
A transit visa is required for Indian and Sri Lankan citizens passing through Spanish airports without entering the country. Allows stays only in international transit areas. Processing takes 1-2 working days. Need flight bookings, a valid passport and onward travel proof. Some exemptions apply for certain residence permit holders.
Family Visa
A family visa helps reunite with legal Spanish residents, including spouses, children under 18, disabled dependents and parents over 65 needing care. Requires family reunification permits, relationship proof, criminal checks and medical certificates. EU family members have separate simplified procedures. Applications are needed within two months.
