Pre-existing Diseases: If a pre-existing condition becomes life-threatening while travelling, emergency treatment costs will be covered.

What is not Covered?

Pregnancy-Related Exclusion: If you are over 30 weeks pregnant, any expenses related to childbirth or associated complications during the trip are excluded.
Legal Violations: Costs arising from legal issues, including situations that result in your passport being seized by authorities, are not covered.
Negligence: Claims won’t be accepted for missed flights caused by personal delays or failure to carry necessary travel documents.

Types of Visas for Ukraine
Ukraine offers various types of visas depending on the purpose and duration of your stay. From tourist and business visas to education and retirement options, each visa serves a specific travel need:
Tourist Visa
For leisure travel, sightseeing, or exploring Ukraine’s iconic attractions from the historic churches of Kyiv and Lviv to the beaches of Odessa and the Carpathian Mountains. Indian citizens must obtain a visa before arrival. A short-term tourist visa (Type C) is valid for up to 90 days within a 180-day period. Requires a valid passport (minimum 6 months), return ticket, proof of accommodation, travel insurance (minimum coverage €30,000), and sufficient funds (approx. €50 per day).
Business Visa
For attending meetings, trade events, or business discussions in Ukraine. Visa must be obtained prior to travel. A short-term business visa (Type C) is issued for up to 90 days. Requires a business invitation letter, return ticket, proof of accommodation, financial documents, and documentation verifying the inviting company’s registration. Employment is not permitted under this visa.
Student Visa
For short-term academic programs or educational workshops. Indian students must apply for a long-term visa (Type D) before arrival. Requires an admission letter from a Ukrainian institution, proof of accommodation, return ticket, financial means, travel insurance, and visa application form. For long-term studies, students must also apply for a residence permit upon arrival in Ukraine.
Work Visa
For employment or volunteering in Ukraine. Requires a valid job offer and sponsorship from a Ukrainian employer. Must be approved by the State Migration Service before arrival. Issued for the contract period and includes eligibility for a residence permit. Not available on arrival.
Transit Visa
For travelers transiting through Ukraine en route to another destination. A transit visa (Type B) is required and typically valid for up to 5 days. Requires a valid passport, onward ticket, and destination visa (if applicable). Entry is permitted for transit purposes only and must be within the permitted stay duration.
Non-immigrant Visa
For visiting family members residing in Ukraine. Indian citizens must apply for a short-term visa (Type C) before arrival. Requires passport, proof of relationship, return ticket, accommodation details, financial means, and travel insurance. Valid for up to 90 days. Employment is not allowed under this visa.
